Go Feisty! is here to fuel the bold, the bright, and the fearless with content that empowers, uplifts, and adds a little extra sparkle to your life. Today, we’re sharing the Blaze in Orange 2026 Action Plan. (More about Blaze in Orange 2026 is here.)
Blaze in Orange 2026: Action Plan
Wear orange. Create in orange. Live orange. Celebrate in orange.
Blaze in Orange 2026 is a global movement that transforms the once-feared Fire Horse year into a joyful, empowering celebration.
Here is our action plan to bring this vision to life.
1. Publishing | Creating the Spark of the Movement (July 2025)
FEISTY – The Accidental Beginning
A global English-language release

The movement begins with the publication of FEISTY – The Accidental Beginning, written in English by the movement’s founder, Megumi Bear (Megumi Ijiri).
Born in the Fire Horse year and never willing to shrink herself to fit superstition, Megumi draws from her real-life experiences living in the United States. With humor and honesty, she explores themes that resonate deeply with global readers: cross-cultural marriage, battles with a difficult mother-in-law, racism, immigration, identity, and resilience.
The story opens with Japan’s Fire Horse superstition—and ends with a call to action, inviting readers to join the Blaze in Orange 2026 movement.
The book is available worldwide in paperback and eBook formats.

By sharing content in both Japanese and English, we aim to grow a truly global audience—starting with FEISTY readers and expanding worldwide.
The account also highlights the work and initiatives of partner companies, organizations, artists, and creators, functioning as a global communication hub for the movement.

Go Feisty! is a lifestyle media platform that supports people who live strong, bright, and resilient lives.
A dedicated Blaze in Orange 2026 section has been launched on GoFeisty.com, offering bilingual (English/Japanese) content and working in close connection with Instagram to expand international reach.
3. Creation & Celebration | Making the Fire Horse Visible in Orange
Wear orange. Create in orange. Live orange. Celebrate in orange.

Throughout 2026, we aim to visualize the Fire Horse through fashion, art, gifts, events, and creative expression—united by one symbolic color: Fire Horse Orange.
Because the Fire Horse year occurs only once every 60 years, it holds enormous global potential as a celebratory year.
Blaze in Orange 2026 is designed as an open platform where culture, creativity, and business intersect.
A Call to Creators
Let orange be your inspiration.
We welcome bold creations across all genres—art, fashion, craft, design, experiential projects, and beyond.
A Call to Brands, Retailers, and Businesses
Why not feature orange?
Make orange the hero of your products, campaigns, and celebrations.
Blaze in Orange 2026 actively promotes partner initiatives through its official platforms and social media, sharing them with audiences both in Japan and around the world.
We invite partners to explore new possibilities for an orange-centered market—together.

4. Reiwa (令和) Fire Horse Babies | Celebrating Birth with Orange
Gift Orange
We propose a new cultural tradition: celebrating the birth of Fire Horse babies with orange.
Wearing or gifting “something orange” becomes a symbol of joy, blessing, and pride—a positive custom that begins with the Reiwa generation.
“Should we avoid having a Fire Horse baby?”
That era is over.
Fire Horse babies are born only once every 60 years. They are rare—and special.
We believe every child born under this zodiac should grow up knowing their birth year is something to be proud of, celebrated and protected by society as a whole.
5. Showa (昭和)Fire Horse Kanreki | Celebrating 60 in Orange
Those born in the Showa Fire Horse year have lived strong, bright, and resilient lives—despite baseless superstition.
Their 60th birthday (kanreki) deserves something special.
Instead of the traditional red vest, we propose celebrating kanreki in orange.
Sixty is not an ending—it is a new beginning.
Let’s celebrate this milestone in orange, the color of passion, strength, and pride.
We welcome ideas and collaborations involving orange fashion, accessories, gifts, parties, and events for Fire Horse kanreki celebrations.
This once-in-60-years overlap of zodiac and milestone is an opportunity to create a positive movement celebrating the second half of life.
To support this generation, a private Facebook group has also been launched exclusively for Showa Fire Horse women—a space to connect, share, laugh, and continue the journey together.
The Future We Envision
When we come together,
we can replace avoidance with celebration—
and transform the Fire Horse year into a moment welcomed with joy, pride, and unshakable confidence.
If the Olympics come once every four years,
then the Fire Horse year—celebrated in orange—
is a once-every-60-years global celebration born in Japan.
By carrying this movement forward,
we will ensure that the Fire Horse is remembered not as something to fear,
but as a story of strength and pride—
passed down to future generations, forever.
We envision a Fire Horse year that transcends
age, nationality, and gender—
a year when people around the world celebrate
the fire to live boldly and authentically.
So that future Fire Horse generations can say, with confidence and pride:
“I am a Fire Horse.”
And those words will be met—everywhere in the world—
with respect, admiration, and celebration.
That is the future we are building.
Blaze in Orange 2026
Turning superstition into pride.
Turning one rare year into a global celebration.
